David Dunetz
Educator; founder director of the nation-wide "Green Network" elementary school level environmental education project; member of the editorial board of the social-environmental education journal "HaKadur BeYadenu" ("The Ball/Globe Is In Our Hands"); holds a masters degree in education; born in the United States; resident of Rosh Pina.

Rami Eisenberg
Environmental designer/architect/teacher; partner-owner of GEO Architects; established and managed the Inter-University Studio for Sustainable Architecture for three years; does environmental planning for municipalities and public organizations; landscape consultant to Tel Aviv municipality; graduate of the architecture school of Bezalel; resident of Tel Aviv.

Dr. Nitzan Eyal Hershkowitz
Environmental biologist; director of environmental quality for the Israel Institute of Standards; founder of the Environmental Management System in Israel; responsible for ISO 14001 certification of businesses; holds a Ph.D. in microbial ecology; resident of Hertzlia.

Dr. Ron Frumkin
Ecological and environmental consultant; works independently in executing ecological surveys an environmental impact studies; edits policy documents and environmental publications, including the World Watch Israel publications; has been involved in river and stream rehabilitation and biosphere planning, former editor of the journal �Ecology and the Environment,� holds a Ph.D. in zoology (ornithology); resident of Mevasseret Zion.

Dr. Dov Khenin
Lawyer; responsible for the field of public law at Zichroni law firm; political-environmental activist; chair of "Life and Environment" umbrella organization of environmental groups in Israel; editor in chief of the Heschel Center's World Watch publications project; holds a doctorate in political science; resident of Tel Aviv.

Dr. Noga Kronfeld-Shor
Researcher and lecturer in the field of ecological and environmental physiology in the department of zoology at Tel Aviv University; authored the chapter on biodiversity in the "Paths to Sustainability" shadow report to the 2002 Johannesburg Summit; holds a Ph.D. in zoology, resident of Gedera.

Rachel Ladani
Landscape architect, works independently and as the landscape architect of the Bnei Brak Municipality, responsible for the development and planning of public open spaces in the city, teaches at the Rupin College; lectures widely on environmental values in the Haredi community; resident of Bnei Brak.

Orly Peled
Environmental educator; involved in promoting environmental education in the Israeli education system on behalf of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI); member of the board of directors of the Heschel Center; member of the editorial board of the social-environmental education journal "HaKadur BeYadenu" ("The Ball/Globe Is In Our Hands"); holds a masters degree in political science and urban and regional studies; is a doctoral candidate in political science and environmental thought at the Hebrew University; resident of Mevasseret Tziyon.

Erez Rota
Painter, sculptor, artist, environmental educator; involved in landscape design, art teaching; founder and coordinator of an environmental learning through the arts project in "Mevasseret" Junior High; designed and presented exhibit on the restoration of the Hiriya waste dump; local activist and former chair of the Shapira neighborhood committee; resident of Moshav Tzafririm

Hussein Tarabiah
Urban and regional planner; founder and CEO of the Towns Association for Environmental Quality of the Beit Netufa Valley (the first such body in the Arab sector); certified and active in the field of environmental mediation; graduate of the JEMS program in environmental mediation between Israelis and Palestinians; holds a masters degree in environmental sciences, working towards a doctorate in planning at the Technion; resident of Sakhnin.

Alona Vardi
Community-environmental activist; director of the "Environmental Justice" project at Shatil, promoting the development, training and empowerment of environmental activists and organizations; founder and coordinator of the annual national "Koach Svivati" ("Environmental Power") activist conference; chair of the Israeli Friends of Tibet; holds a degree in Israel studies; resident of Jerusalem.

Dr. Ahuva Windsor
Psychologist specializing in environment; has an independent consulting and research practice dealing with human-environment interactions, including use of open space in cities, accessibility, access to transportation, public participation in planning, planning and management of work environments; is presently conducting a large-scale research project on the public use of parks and urban open spaces; lectures in the academic track of the College of Administration of Rishon Letziyon; resident of Tel Aviv.
