Ephraim Davidi

Journalist, lecturer in environment, economics and society at the Adva Institute and at the International Institute of Beit Berl, formerly economics correspondent and news editor of the daily “Davar” newspaper, holds a master’s degree in peace and development studies from Gutborg University, Sweden, native of Argentina, resident of Tel Aviv.

Michal Dayan
Television director and writer, directed segments of Channel 2’s“Mabat Nashi” women’s news magazine, holds a degree in cinema and television from Tel Aviv University, has taught television reporting in colleges around the country, native of Kibbutz Ein Hashofet.

Ya’ir Engel

Designer and planner, graduate of Bezalel School of Art and Design in industrial design, works as an independent designer in recycled materials and lectures in product design at “Ascola”, strives to further “an alternative and more responsible product design”, resident of Tel Aviv.

Miran Epstein
Historian and philosopher of ethics in science and medicine, holds an M.D. and is finishing his doctorate at the Institute of the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas at Tel Aviv University, edits the Health and Society page of the journal “Status”, is a staff member of the World Watch publication project on the topic of air pollution and public health in Israel, resident of Tel Aviv.

Yehoshua Glutman
Photographer and educator, senior lecturer in photography at Bezalel, graduate of Hadassah College and the Polytechnic of Central London, artist-lecturer in “Art for the People,” his works have been published, have been and are being displayed in many venues, resident of Mitzpe Abirim in the Galilee.

Daphna Goldman

Coordinator of the agriculture and environmental studies department at Beit Berl College, and lecturer therein, holds a doctorate in zoology from Tel Aviv University, organizes the yearly conference on environmental education in the educational system, formerly the head of ecology and environmental quality at the Council for A Beautiful Israel, native of the United States, resident of Ramat Hasharon.

Shlomo Katz
Hydrological engineer, director of the northern district of the Ministry of the Environment, formerly maritime pollution supervisor at the Ministry of the Environment, and coordinator of the interministerial committee on that topic, holds a degree in land and water from the Technion, resident of Haifa.

Esther Korn-Ankri
Mediator, holds a law degree from the Queensland University of Technology, active in the organization of Israeli mediators, formerly assistant director at the Ministry of the Environment for international relations and special projects, native of Australia, resident of Tel Aviv.

Daniel Levi
Environmental consultant, scientist in the Israel Union for Environmental Defense, formerly independent advisor to the Ministry of the Environment in the area of site reclamation, holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences from the Hebrew University, resident of Kiryat Ono.

Amiad Lapidot
Northern coordinator of the “Environment and Community” project of Shatil—the support and consultation service for organizations for social change, is studying towards a degree in urban and regional planning at the Technion, lectures on environmental issues, organic farmer, formerly a career officer in the Navy, resident of Moshav Kerem Maharal.

Madhat Osman
Biologist and educator, educational coordinator at the Urban League for Environmental Quality of the Beit Netufa Basin, formerly a researcher in the area of solutions to environmental problems in the Arab sector at the research and development center of the Galilee League, holds a doctorate in genetics from the Hebrew University, resident of Sakhnin.

Hadas Shachnai
Member of the Tel Aviv City Council from the Green Party, environmental activist, member of the directorate of the Dan Regional Urban League for Sewage and Environmental Quality, has proposed legislation on a variety of environmentally related issues, experienced in management and marketing, holds a degree in economics and sociology from the Hebrew University, resident of Tel Aviv.

Orit Skutelski
Ecologist and educator, holds a master’s degree in desert ecology from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, doctoral candidate in geography in the area of public participation in biospheric nature reserves, lectures at Ben Gurion University and at the Arava Institute of Environmental Studies, resident of Moshav Givat Yishayahu.

Ronit Zamir
Lawyer, legal advisor in charge of environmental mediation, including planning and construction, at the National Center for Mediation and Conflict Resolution of the Ministry of Law, formerly served in the legal department of the Israel Union for Environmental Defense, holds a master’s degree from the Hebrew University in law, with a specialty in environmental law, resident of Tel Aviv.
