The Center for Sustainability Studies
Since its inception, the Heschel Center for Sustainability has implemented numerous transformative learning programs for a variety of target populations. We have provided seminars for hundreds of senior government officials, courses for professionals in local authorities, programs for media professionals, journalists, educators, urban planners and much more.
Our Notable Programs
The Fellows Program creates a space in which to delve into transformational interdisciplinary learning, networking and strategizing. The participants as agents of change, emerge at the end of the program informed, enriched and committed, with heightened awareness and dedication to sustainability issues in general and to implementing their personal projects in particular.
We work directly with municipalities and regional councils in Israel by means of policy making, capacity building and networking as well as integrating innovative models drawn from best practices in Israel and abroad.
Despite of COVID-19, we offer a variety of courses and programs for different audiences, now mostly online.
