The Heschel Center’s End of the World / How to thrive in the 21st century web-series has captured the attention of hundreds of thousands of people in Israel. It touches on the issues our society faces in an approachable, often hilarious way, featuring famous Israeli actors. Added to the longer 8-min clips, there are eight short films that inspire watchers with successful solutions from Israel and the world. The films are in Hebrew and target Israeli audiences but can serve as educational materials for English speakers using subtitles.
As a cumulative effort, the thought that has been created at the Heschel Center over the years, and expressed in various publications, has left a deep impression, both in the broad public discourse and in academia, where many courses are now using texts and articles that are products of the Heschel approach. These ideas and concepts serve as the foundation for our work.
Our publications are published in Hebrew.
